27, 2009
With the arrival of spring and the planting season,
its time to begin thinking about the wonderful fall harvest. We are pleased to
announce that the Morningside Heights CSA (it stands for "Community
Supported Agriculture," if you don't know what it is read here: http://www.localharvest.org/csa/)
run by the Columbia University Food Sustainability Project will continue for
Fall 2009. This is a 10-week CSA with Norwich Meadows Farm that starts in early
September. The farm, located in upstate New
York, is certified organic. If you would like
to participate in the CSA, an individual share (1 - 2 people) costs $140
and a family share (4 people) costs $280. If you are interested or have any
questions, please email morningsideheightscsa@gmail.com
to obtain a sign-up sheet and learn about other available products. You can
