Organized by the City’s nonprofit Sanitation Foundation and We Love NYC, the Sweep brought Columbia President Minouche Shafik, Barnard President Laura Rosenbury, Teachers College President Thomas Bailey, and New York City Council member Shaun Abreu to the Manhattanville Campus on September 20.

Members of the Office of Sustainability participated to represent the University's commitment to the environment. The team distributed Sustainable Columbia t-shirts to colleagues from across Columbia's campuses and informed attendees about Plan 2030 and Columbia's commitment to net zero by 2050.
